MARKETING INTERN
Duties and Responsibilities
- The student must be a current college student or recent college graduate seeking internship experience
- The student must be a business major (with a preferred emphasis in Marketing / Marketing Communication)
- The student will be required to participate in 20 hours of work per week (approximately 3 business days
- The internship will last for a period of ten weeks and extension of time will be granted based on the mutual agreement of Advance Sound Company and the student
- The student must complete a five page single spaced paper on the topic of the summer, to be determined by Advance Sound Company and the Marketing team
- Complete a project of the student's choice that can be used to assist Advance Sound Company in their marketing initiatives
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (established by supervisor)
- The student should have completed a marketing principles or marketing foundation class
- The student should be knowledgeable in programs such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Students wishing to hybridize their experience with advertising should have basic knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
- Attention to detail

Duties and Responsibilities
Perform assigned work in the assembly and installation of equipment
Work in an organized manner around production lines
Travel to job site as required
Travel locally as required for parts purchase or return
Work closely with level I and II technicians, communicate with all co-workers
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (established by supervisor)
Ability to adopt training specifically in order to be able to read wiring diagrams (one lines)
Ability to read prints and wire lists
Attention to detail
Ability to establish priorities
Effective oral communication skills
Must be able to use tools (for wiring and installation)
Ability to travel by any mode when needed
Ability to adhere to safety rules and company policies
Credentials and Experience
Common sense
Reading and writing proficiency

AUDIOVISUAL TECHNICIAN I OR II - (classification depends on experience)
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform assigned work in the assembly and installation of electronic equipment and the wiring of rack systems
Provide assistance to technical support team in the operation and testing of systems
Work in an organized manner around production lines
Travel to job site as required
Travel locally as required for parts purchase or return
Communicate with all co-workers, be willing to learn as well as teach
Prepare for and assume the invested training will be utilized in crew or team leadership of some sort
Maintain as-built inventory and submit orders for needed materials
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (established by supervisor)
Ability to read wiring diagram (one lines), prior experience with one lines preferred
Ability to read schematics, prints and wire lists, prior experience with drawings essential
Technical ability and attention to detail
Ability to establish priorities
Effective oral communication skills
Must be able to use tools (for wiring and installation)
Ability to travel by any mode when needed (possibly for extensive periods of time)
